More good news

Thursday, December 18th, 2008

My critique partner, Edie Ramer, advanced to the second round of American Title V this week. I am so thrilled for her. Her book, DEAD PEOPLE, totally rocks. This second round is a brief paragraph about the hero and heroine of each of the remaining 7 finalists. Check it out! Voting is easy, you just send an email to votes@romantictimes.com with the title of the book you’re voting for in the subject line. No prizes for guessing DEAD PEOPLE was in the subject line I sent :) .

Good news

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

My crit partner, Liz Kreger, has just been nominated for Best in Small Press Futuristic / Fantasy Category over at Romantic Times. Another member of my crit group, Karin Tabke, has been nominated for Best in Erotic Suspense Category. Way to go!

Another piece of good news is that Karin’s First Line contest is up and running again. It is a lot of fun, with participants posting the first ten sentences of their novel, sentence by sentence, over ten weeks, and getting culled by the judges until there are only 5 left (it starts with a limit of 100).

Other good news is I am writing more, and yet, still getting into the spirit of the festive season.

What good news have you got?
