Conference
I love hearing back from writing friends who attended the RWA National Conference. I have only attended one conference myself, but I loved it, and I can put myself there when they talk about the meetings and the meals shared with other writers.
I’d love to go next year, and am already making tentative plans with that in mind. It’ll be in Nashville in 2010, and I’ve never been there, so that should be fun. Last time I went I met up with friends before the conference and we had such a good time, I’d love to do that again, too.
What one thing do you try to make year after year, despite the cost and hassle, because it is really worth it to you?

We have pets! A dog and a cat. Hassles every day and they can be expensive. But we love them. And having them around is important to our well-being.

I’m making plans to be attend 2010 Nationals in Nashville with my mom and Baby Girl. I can’t wait.
After attending going this year registrationless, I’ll do the same next year and just make plans to meet up with friends in the bar or lounge and have a good time. Not to mention, it’s much cheaper that way.

Hey Michelle, we vacation in Florida every year come hell or high water!
I’m driving to Nashville for the conference next year, and it’ll be cheaper in 2010 sans the airline tickets. It all depends on how the financial wind blows whether I’ll register, or just pay for awards night. Either way, I’ll be there!

I vote that we meet again a couple of days in advance … provided you can make it, Michelle. I’m all for another B&B with y’all. It was such a good time in Dallas.
Plus, with Nashville, I intend to drive so we’ll have at least one car available.
