Bad Me
I haven’t posted in ages, and that’s bad.
I’ve finished writing my book, though. Twice. And I’m the newly appointed Vice-President of Communications for the newly established Women’s Fiction Chapter of RWA. So I’ve been working with the amazing Alison Kent on the chapter’s website (well, she is doing most of the work, but I am helping), putting together a newsletter committee, and participating in meetings, loading software, doing stuff.
I’m not sitting on my hands, in other words.
But, I knew I needed to post, and Liz Kreger gave me the kick in derriere I needed.
I’m now 75 pages away from completing my revisions, and then I’m sending the manuscript to my wonderful agent, and getting down to the next book.
Do you find life just sweeps you away occassionally, and something has got to give?

Did I guilt you into posting, Michelle? Didn’t mean to,
but its nice to see something on your site.
Congrats on your position with RWA’s Women’s Fiction Chapter. Didn’t know you were doing that.
And congrats on the new book.

I knew you were busy. I didn’t write my blog last week, either. I thought it was more important to write my 10K words. But I’m nowhere as bad as you.
Congrats on the revisions! I hope your agent loves the book as much as I loved reading it.

You did guilt me into posting, but I needed a push, obviously, LOLOL.
Thanks for the congrats. Have meant to mention it, but it didn’t seem to come up.

I don’t think many are as bad as me
, Edie. And thanks, so glad you enjoyed it!

Michelle,
I am much, MUCH worse than you. I hadn’t posted since Jan when I deleted my blog.
And yes, sometimes life just seems to sweep you away!

Theresa, LOL, no, I wasn’t THAT bad
.

Hey Michelle, I put a blog up quick too!
Liz kicked both of our tushies, and got us on track again!
And yes, life does take off and rearranges things some days. I think of the holidays on the horizon, and my to-do list in that arena. I’m a holiday gal, and it’s a challenge to the stay-the-course with pages during that time. But, too, I remember writing on Thanskgiving morning after I put Tom in the oven last year. I can do this!
