Day 7 Winners: Congratulations to Lynda and Kareni
Day 7 and we’re a week in! The prize for today for two commenters is an ebook copy of SKY RAIDERS, the first book in my Sky Raiders series, and the winner of this year’s RT Reviewers’ Choice Award for Best Futuristic Novel.
The image at the top of the graphic above is of the beach near where I live (and where I walk often). I’d love you to share a picture of a place you love near where you live, or if you just want to comment and say where your favorite place is near you, that works, too!
My favorite places in real life have always been near moving water, such as oceans or rivers. Although I can’t get out and about any more, those are still at the top of my list. Now, my favourite places are more “exotic”, such as Harmony, with it’s dust bunnies and alien ruins; or Pern with it’s telepathic dragons and fire lizards; Valdemar, with the Hawkbrothers and the Companions…and of course, I just got back from visiting Grih, Larga Ways and the class 5’s π
I love being near the water, too, J.Lee! And like you, I love escaping into exotic fictional worlds π
What a beautiful beach picture, Michelle. (Do you care to name it?) While I love to see and hear the ocean, I live a distance away. My favorite local places are libraries and book stores.
The picture was taken near Trigg Beach. And I am with you on the libraries and bookshops. I find them, and stationary supply stores, to be like magnets π
Congratulations again, Kareni. You are one of the winners.
Thank you so much, Michelle. It’s my lucky week!
Living close to the seashore is very nice but I prefer the mountains. I’m lucky enough that my husband and I were able to buy a really small place deep upstate New York surrounded by green fields and close to a very small village and I love it. I have the best of both worlds, during winter I live in a warm place and during summer I’m surrounded by the mountains (I work from home and as long as I have internet connection, I’m good to go). Sorry I couldn’t post a picture but I’ve tried and it didn’t work.
That sounds absolutely idyllic, Luzhelena!
Love the Lincoln Memorial which is nearby. Thanks for the chance to win your book.
I recently visited Washington DC and went to the Lincoln Memorial for the first time. I spent a really amazing day in DC seeing all the sights π
Congratulations, Lynda, you’re one of the winners, I’ll email you to let you know how to claim your prize.
