And we’re off!
So exciting! Friends with pre-orders of In a Treacherous Court on bookdepository.co.uk have received messages to say their copies have shipped, and today was my very first sale on amazon.com. The sale was in New York. How appropriate, and a big thank you to the first online purchaser 🙂 . I can’t believe the day is here at last (a few days early, actually), but it is.
The other great news is that Target has picked In a Treacherous Court as part of their Emerging Author Program, so it will be available in store and online at Target, as well.
I’m being interviewed by women’s fiction author Marilyn Brant

Talking about courtly behaviour in the 16th Century
I’m discussing THE COURTIER, the handbook on courtly behaviour by Count Castillo, written in the early 16th Century, today over at author Cynthia Eden’s blog. I use a rule from THE COURTIER at the start of each chapter of IN A TREACHEROUS COURT, and I’m talking about why I did that, and giving some of my favorite rules. There is also a giveaway of a copy of IN A TREACHEROUS COURT.
